| The weather was sunny but with a coldish north east wind. The course was hard with the grass in the rough beginning to grow and become difficult. Roy Miller (I thought 'Shining Knight') won with 40 points from Graham Adams, Brian Trickey (nice to see you back Tricks), and our very own Ali Johnson (aka Captain Marvel?). Buying crisps were Richard Palmer (always putting his hand in his pocket), Andy Avis (again?!), Andy Sheehan and Pep Symons (who falls foul of the new rule). Banishing a flock of gremlins, Alan Hannigan (aka The Phoenix) avoided the crisps easily and the Roadrunner modestly kept under the radar playing steadily all this season so far scoring the same as Etrigan The Demon who seems to be recovering form. |
